Subject: Stallone face morph

Molina00 ( ) posted Fri, 02 May 2008 at 5:58 PM · edited Thu, 23 January 2025 at 6:20 PM

Does anybody know if there is a free Sylvester Stallone face morph for Apollo anywhere?

I was going to add a Judge Dredd outfit to my list of projects that will never get done. :tongue2:
If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.  One day I will actually finish something I start.  Maybe it will be this. hah!

Thanks.

I will have to search for where I stored the filefiles.

*I was going to add a Judge Dredd outfit...   *Try the link above - note this is the "proper"  Dredd suit not the movie one :)

Though ironically Stallone was chosen by the readers of 2000AD to be the best person to play Dredd back in the 80's. One of the annuals - 81 maybe? - has a photo of Stallone wearing  (drawn on) J.D's Helmet.

Maybe they knew :)

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

I'm afraid that would be an incorrect guess.  I almost never even go to CP, although after looking at their forums because you mentioned I think I'll have to poke around there and see what I can find.

Old Stallone for sure.  I prefer my Stallone to look somewhat human.  hah
I liked Rocky Balboa (the movie), but he's really too old to be continuing the roles he started 20-30 years ago.

Yo Adrian!

If you would be willing to share the morph (if you can find the files) I would be most greatful.  😄
Is that morph sculpted or would I be able to tweak it some with the dials if I decide to?

I AM THE LAW!

Proper eh?  hah
I never read the comics, I've only seen the movie so the Stallone version is the only one I know.
I may have to check that suit out regardless.  They are probably both pretty similar anyway I would think.  Thanks for the link.

*Proper eh?  hah *LOL - old joke:)   Most 2000AD fans felt the movie wasn't that true to the comics, in those he never removed his helmet, would never kiss Hershey etc etc. It's kinda like if they made a straight superman movie and he looked like homer simpson :)

*They are probably both pretty similar anyway I would think
*There are quite a few differences - the best source is the offical site - link above.

I thought that was probably what you meant.  Movies usually aren't too accurate when it comes to the original source material.

That's one thing I liked about the Silent Hill movie.  Most movies based on video games are totally off the wall, but Silent Hill was relatively accurate with a few exceptions to make the movie work.

Looks like there is some good stuff for references there.  I already found a site, I think it was www.2000ad.nu that has pics of the movie props.  Between these sites I should be able to figure something out on a costume.  I like trying to make my own stuff (even though almost none of it ever gets done).  It's the only way to get better at modeling.

A good reference - if you can find a copy on amazon - is...   "The making of Judge Dredd" Pub: Boxtree. ISBN: 0 7522 0641 9

Another good source of info is the short run (only 23 issues) of a comic aimed soley at kids (less violence and no black humour) called "Judge Dredd Lawman of the Future".

2000AD was originally a kids comic - but over time - 30 years strong- changed into an adult magazine. Now on Prog (issue) 1536 and still very very readable.
