Just looking out for you as a friend.  PM me.  I do suggest you ask the mods to delete your post on unemployment and mine as well.

Conniekat8 ( ) posted Tue, 06 May 2008 at 11:27 PM

No need to delete anything. Like I said, things are being done properly.

I just don't want to get into an in depth discussion about it online, because one thing leads to another, and before too long in order to answer a question ot two, or one that follws, I back myself into a corner and start talking about personal financial details which I don't want to post online for everyone to read. IRS and EDD and social security or whatever agency needs it, already has the info (I forget all the names off the top of my head),  I just don't want every joe rendo forumite, or some lurker handy with identity theft or who knows what else, knowing the details.

Plus the question you asked was framed as if you're suggesting something improper is going on, Rest assured, there isn't. If you have more questions, email me. I just don't want to discuss theese details in public.

BreastDownL
BreastDownR
BreastInL
BreastInR
BreastOutL
BreastOutR

These (and the Up ones) you really don't have to do, and possibly others besides.  They are automatically handled by the clothing magnets embedded in the figure; once conformed and with the "Magnetize Clothing" pose applied to the clothing, you'll find that the breast JSMs move those nearby bits of clothing just the same, although you might want to include them anyway for additional flexibility.

ArmsFront-Back
ArmsUp-Down

These are ERC dials that control rotations in the collars and shoulders, and you don't want to include these either (when conformed they will just go).  I think you want to avoid including any that do scaling as well (ChestSize I am pretty sure).  If the internal name of the dial is prefixed with "CTRL" or "SCL" then you probably ought to avoid it.

My Freebies

pjz99 ( ) posted Wed, 07 May 2008 at 11:36 PM

oops, big caveat - for those exporting to external apps for rendering then they might want those morphs after all (no magnet support in the destination app).

I don't know about not including these. I've never created a conforming anything, but I've been less than 100% pleased with relying on the magnetize clothing for poses with any degree of dynamic flare in Cararra6. Some of my issues may be handled better by Poser or D|S, but I love C6, and I ain't goin' back!

I may be wrong, but since Connie said she was going to probably make these as injectable groups, It may be a good idea to go ahead and include the morphs, but have them included in logical inject groups.

Thanks for the info PJZ, I actually didn't know which morphs were magent related and which werent. I was figuring I'll discover that during rigging (and not exactly looking forward to it).
Back to morphs today...

Rigging for V4 is easier than you think.  Basically just drop in the Dev version of the figure in the Setup room, run the Magnetize Clothing pose, and minimal joint parameter adjustment.  It's fairly easy to rig a tight fitting bodysuit like this, I doubt you will need to adjust very much at all.  The Dev version came with "V4 Complete" assuming you bought that.

Conniekat8 ( ) posted Thu, 08 May 2008 at 3:45 PM

Yea, I have the Dev Version :)   I haven't looked at it much, sonce I was going to defer rigging to Randy... But it won't hurt me to go throgh the process myself :)

Conniekat8 ( ) posted Sun, 11 May 2008 at 12:09 AM

Oh... I didn't post an update...
I'm still morphing. Most of the morphs fopr the suit are done, I got a lot of the vest morphs done today. Around 27 of them. After palying tennis for four hours, I came home plopped on the chair and morphed away.
Few more little morphs in the vest. Then boots and holster. Those should go pretty quick
Visiting hubby's grandma tomorrow, so I won't get much done.

....Then I get to wig out on wrigging....

I was just teasing, Connie. Good to hear things are coming along well with it, and just as important, that you're having other kinds of fun too!

Four hours of tennis...... Well, I would'a plopped into a chair too, but I doubt I'd be doing anything else. I'm getting too old for this kind of thing. (Or maybe it's just that I'm only awake at night anymore)

Hehe! "wrigging"

Conniekat8 ( ) posted Sun, 11 May 2008 at 11:24 PM

No problem Joe-B, you can check up on things any time you want.  I finished the Vest morphs for body fits.
Holster and boots left to do!  I think those will go pretty quickly.

Is everything going according to plan at the moment?
Which morph was the biggest pain in the butt?

Conniekat8 ( ) posted Mon, 12 May 2008 at 6:33 PM

Things are moving along nicely!
The biggest pain in the butt was theway hexagon handles soft selections. It made it for very long time in morph making. Once I switched to 3D max, and it's, more sophisticated) way of handling soft selections, instead opf 9 hours per FBM, it went down to about three.

Not too much to see here really, but I'm posting it anyway. I'm making holster morphs to fit around various body styles. About half of the holster morphs are done. Boots after that.

The body morph here is GND+Bodybuilder morph.

At least you'll know for next time you create something. All part of the process I guess.
So how far from texturing now?

stormchaser ( ) posted Mon, 12 May 2008 at 6:39 PM

Crikey, yeah, all those morphs for the holster as well! You're definitely covering your options!

Conniekat8 ( ) posted Mon, 12 May 2008 at 6:57 PM

Well, if I don't include them in all of the pieces, it would defeat the purpose of having them.

After I'm done with moprhs and a rig, I usually turn it over to testers for the the first pass of testing - mainly rigging and how things fit together, and to document pokethroughs so I can see where I'll need JCM's.

Usually while my testers are doing this (I call it alpha test) phase, I start on the textures.  That gives me a bit of a break from modeling and rigging too, before fine tuning things.

Not much progress on this today... Had a twillight zone day today... almost everything went wrong at home. Our bathroom flooded with a backed up sewer pipe - in the middle of the night. Yuck!  Hazmat people were here all day, stripping everything out from three rooms - down to the building slab and studs. All I can say is thank god ... or someone...for homeowners insurance!!!!  It's very surreal!!!!   I'm rambling  I better go to bed.

Not much getting done last couple of days. Still spending notghts at the hotel. The house drying equipement lkeeps shorting the circuit breakers, so I gave up trying to get much done during the day. Also, with the heatwave and the drying equipement in the house, it's gotta be around between 90-100F in here.
They told us the equipement will be out today, now they extended it till monday. Yuck! I think I have a massive headache from it but it's too hot to nap. Also, we have to switch hotels, the one we were stying at is booked up for tonight. Double yuck, since this one was really handy only two miles away.
