Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 09 3:46 am)
It's best to export one body part at a time from Poser.
Load the figure into Poser.
On the menu: File:Export:Wavefront OBJ
A hierarchy list will pop up.
Check only the part you want to work on. (The Head, for example.)
Then, on the Export Options panel, check the "As Morph Target", no
other boxes.
Name the OBJ something like "HeadOnly.obj" to avoid confusion.
Import this OBJ into your modelling program, and move vertices to make the morph.
Save the result, for example "HeadOnlySmile.obj"
With the entire figure in Poser, select the head.
On the parameters box, click the "Properties" tab.
Hit the "Load Morph" button, and browse to your "HeadOnlySmile.obj"
Fill in the name blank, and you're done.
Resave the figure under a new name.

Hi.
I want to make morph.
I want to apply mimic program to my model.
And I found that the best way to make morph is export figure's body.
But, obj file has many meshes.
It is hard to me to cotrol it.
What program do you use?
What is the best way?
Can you help me?
Please.
