Hi everyone,
Despite all my efforts and frustration screams the sheet continues to fall through the matrass.

I checked all the figures. For the characters no problem, but the bed seems imaterial. On this xth try the bed turned solid but not the matrass.

How come? Could anyone rescue my surviving nerves? Thanks.

Stéphane

Try using some (if not all) of the additional collision options.

It should also help if you start with the sheet positioned a little above everything it's meant to collide with.

That's what I tryed. The other collison options gave me an erratic result with lots of spikes and artefacts.

Btw what's the meaning of the "eye" symbol in the hierarchy menu (just beside the bed and matrass name)?

Quote - what's the meaning of the "eye" symbol in the hierarchy menu (just beside the bed and matrass name) ?

It tells you whether or not that item is visible.
Clicking on it will toggle visibility (same as the tick box on the Properties palette).

I would turn off all items checked for collision , and then check the mattress only. Run the simulation , making sure the sheet is above all collision items . It should be a fast simulation run. If that works , then add the other collision items and see what happens then .

Remember to use the option to clear the simulation before running it again .
