Could someone please tell me the name of a good Fractal program?

I would like to be able to have a transparent background and large images.

I'll check it out.

I hope it's easier to learn than creating the 3D models. 😕  I gave up on that.

chaospro is free and it makes really pretty fractals. they even have all their previous versions archived if you want an older one :)
