I've been pretty fascinated with the textures others have made that appear so lifelike. So, after consulting our top scientists at PAN.WARE we have begun work on PROJECT: GENESIS. Hopefully if feed back is good...we can have a finished model that will be worthy to present to the forum before xmas. Our goal here at PAN.WARE is to bring the REAL life into these textures. Should be fun! Let me know...should I stick with my clothing or should I try to make the ULTIMATE texture for the P4 Female? Here is a (shhh) TOP SECRET FORUM EXCLUSIVE of our current work on the models eyes. PANdaRUS

By the way...there is NO photoshop touch ups in this image. The image is straight from the render in Poser 4. The only thing added to this was the text and logo. PAN~

While your at it, could you make one for the Male too? It would be nice to have the same level of quality for both...

Hmm..I'll give it a shot. PAN.WARE has been currently working on some MALE PAN.WARE. Let me play with the idea and see what happens... :) PAN~

......Pan....there is no "ultimate" in this....Every time I think I have seen an ultimate this or that in Poser....just about the time I THINK I can put my shoes back on....the socks go flying off again...... Scarab <-not pregnant (obviously), but barefoot, in the kitchen, having a snack standing over the sink so the crumbs dont fall on the floor and you step on them with your bare feet and....oh you know how icky that is......!

Yes, please, some male things, please, please, please! There's a plethora of female taxtures (almost an over-abundance of it by now) but the male characters are still poverty stricken. I guess I need to get my tools out and start working on some male textures myself, but there are those artists out there who are so much better than I am and you folks do such a better job. Thanks for all the great work. You folks deserve a round of applause. They just keep getting better and better. Melanie

One word to Scarab - ewwww! Take notice I said "should I TRY to make the ULTIMATE texture?" I have in no way ever intended that my ULTIMATE texture was going to be the end all texture. Granted I've seen several postings of "Ultimate this and Ultimate that" before and no one has ever felt that was the end of creation as we knew it. As for the crumbs on the floor...let them fall once and a while...you'll find that when the crumbs get caught inbetwixed your toes it can be quite the massage! (not to mention a snack for later when your kicked back in front of the telly) :) PANdaRUS (THE ULTIMATE PAIN IN THE REAR) - bet I'll get no arguments on THAT one eh? hehehehe

Yes, Pan, definitely, keep going! :]FishNose

Pan, One note on the eyes of the texture, they look really, really lifelike, but I think the gleam in the eyes could be a little less blurred and a lot shinier. If you look at real eyes, the shine is very distinct against the pupil. These look a little dry. Otherwise, it's just great, and so far, the best eyes I've seen yet! Melanie

I agree..sadly the dpi can't be set higher and that's how I used to make them sharper in other programs! Unless someone out there wishes to scold me on that issue again? hahaha...I'll take your suggestions into account though Mel. I agree with you! Perhaps if I do some post work in another program other than poser it may help. PAN~

Poser males are just a bunch of grunts. They don't need to be all textured up cause they're tough and masculine already,.....ha, ha, ha; a joke, just a joke, okay?? Don't gang up on me! Pan isn't the only one allowed to joke around here, eh? Tells better jokes though. Nice work, looks like it's gonna be a winner. And yes, we do need more poser male textures. Happy rendering... Radart.

1- The 'skin around the eyelids' (or do you mean eyelashes?)is standard poser gunk. She wakes up with it EVERY MORNING when I start the program. Nothing I can do about that (yet) 2- There IS alot of light falling on her face. She's currently surrounded by 3 SPOTLIGHTS, ONE behind her and ONE on the left, and ONE on the right. I'm trying to create the Ultimate texture ...NOT the ultimate lighting source. I'm sure you can excuse the lighting. 3- If you have noticed any REAL photo shoot images after they have been taken with the models standing behind ALL those BRITE lights, you will notice the same "dark areas". In real life those images are then 'touched up in photoshop' and the models are given that grainly looking skin that makes them look all fuzzy...sorta like in those copies of playboy under the bed. No real women or men have such flawless skin. However, during the time of re-doing the skin, the 'dark areas' are also removed. So if you are trying to say most peoples eyes are not that recessed into their heads..you are right, but the illusion is STILL present when the pictures are taken due to the lighting. Ever seen the red eye? No REAL humans have glowing red eyes..tis merely an illusion. 4- The fact that she has dark circles around the eyes is further testament that the image is coming along rather nicely due to the fact I've YET to alter it in any programs and remove those "dark areas". Don't get me wrong, Trip,...I'm trying to explain here. Hey...I want you to SEE the 'ultimate female (or male) texture as bad as the next person. Just trying to confuse. PAN~
