What program do you need in order to refit items that apply to one character to another character (V3 items to V4 size for example)

There are at least two that I know of. EvilInnocence's Crossdresser (Windows only):

I haven't tried either myself, on account of being a broke Mac user, but I've heard good things about both.

I use Morphing Clothes by Dimension3D sold here at Rendo.

It's more versatile than cross dresser and does exactly as it advertises. Easy to use too! Highly recommended.

Does the Morphing Clothes allow for fitting clothing from one character to another? Or does it just  transfer the morphs of  say a morphed V4 to V4 clothing? 
If I can transpher from one character to another, I'm so there.
