Just a thought... probably a red herring, but worth asking...
Collections items are just references to the actual content in your Runtime libraries.
You haven't moved (or renamed, or re-organised) your Runtime(s) since creating the Collection items, have you? If so, you may have broken the references.

I think I got it, what I did was load a figure, clothes, and shoes and saved it to figures. Then opened a new screen. Then click on my model package-everything came up great. Then I saved it in Pose, made a new screen and tried to extract it --nothing worked just got the delete sign same as what you had.
Bottom line, try loading your stuff in the figures portion, if that doesn't work, try props and so forth. Jan
A warning. All your hard work creating your collections will be lost when you upgrade your computer. Collections are not like runtimes that you can copy them from one hard drive to the other and will still work. I lost all my hard work when I upgraded computers. Since I don't have the same hard drives/folders arrangements my collections don't work in my new computer.
Thanks for the warning. I have been just creating new categories and having multiple copies of figures rather than use collections. From the last comment it appears that this is the best approach.

Yes safest to reorganize your runtimes than using the collections. They should have included an utility to organize the content within the runtime with dependencies automatically instead of something so superficial as the way collections work.

just discovered this feature (duh! took me how long since Poser 7 came out???) and I've discovered how to add items to the collection. Great! Looks like it'll be a real blessing.
Now that I've added characters, poses, etc. to a collection, I'm having trouble figuring out how to add those characters, etc. to a scene! I click on them and nothing happens. I click on the checkmark at the bottom, nothing happens. Is this normal? Am I missing a trick? Any advice would be welcomed.
Thanks in advance,
Guy Hoyle
