That is actually really weird. In bryce 5 this error did not exist yet. They might want to look back at some of the old code and see if they missed something... I've generated a scene with thousands of trees and it rendered without problems on a computer with only 512mb of ram showing no signs of extensive swapping either.

Hi All,
I haven't posted here in awhile, although I do look in from time to time. I've been working on my shall we say "Posing skills." But that not my real issue these days. The latest is the tree lab in the latest version of Bryce.
I don't know if anyone else has had this problem yet? If not? Let me tell you all about it.
I have been told by DAZ there is a known problem with the tree lab. The problem is the tree lab will create out of memory issues. What this means is if you use the tree lab as I have done, it will push your fill size into something that is not usable. I have been told there is no fix as of yet. But they have this problem at the top of their to fix list.
On a good note. I was told yes there will be a newer version of Bryce soon. No date as of yet. So keep on eye out for 6.5. And hopfully a patch for the tree lab.
