Did you recently install other software?
PErhaps it's the C runtime library that's been changed to an older or newer version, and incompatible with Bryce. Unlikely, but possible. Even worse, perhaps that library was infected by a virus/spyware. Might want to run a full system, scan with Eset's oonline scanner (free, run it from inside Internet Explorer, see www.eset.com
I'd look to re-install the Visual Studio C runtimes, at download.microsoft.com
Or re-install Bryce to see if the version included with Bryce fixes the issue.

Hi nukeboy
Well i guess it handles the communication and activation of DS and the back and forth communication between DS and Bryce - anyways - i had the same error (as many others) - and at DAZ3D one of the guys suggested the above solution except he called it bryce.exe.manifest - which didn't work - then another guy in another thread here at R someone suggested the above solution with naming it bryce6.exe.manifest which worked like a charm - reinstallation diddn't !!!
Best regards
Arne

I think I may have installed an item or two from DAZ, but I have not installed any new software that would invoke C++. Hmmm.
