I hope this isn't too much advice. Notes A: The hair here should be coming from under the bowl of the hat (so that it's all gathered together there and then cascades out.) Notes B: The mesh is hyper morphed causing distortion. Try this: Spawn a single morph target out of the head and turn the rest off. Now, turn the new morph up to about 8 instead of One. Your gals face will be the same but without the distortion and collapsed nares (In theory, this usually works for me.) Sidenote: The right cheek looks a bit off, but I think that's only because without the proper shadow on the face, we can't see that the hair is falling over her face somewhat in this area. All in all, you've got the beginnings of a very nice head-shot and I like what you're doing with the hair. -WTB

Very pretty portrait. Curious I should find this post today, I watched my video of Casablanca [colorized version] just last night for the zillionteenth time...Ingrid Bergman was the beauty of her time.

Poppy, This is a lovely image! The tear would look more realistic if it was angled a bit more (coming from inner corner of the eye and sliding almost sideways along the hollow under it. It is the focal point (especially if it is in sharp focus and everything else is soft), and with a bit more work here, people won't be counting strands of hair or number of pearls. Just my opinion, Carolly
