Two possibilities:
Render the top view by right clicking the icon to render the view and then do a screen grab to capture the render. You can then piece several of these renders together - this is a true orthographic view.
Select the Top camera. Move it so its very high above the scene and then set its focal to a high number which will flatten the depth of field.
Neither of these is a 100% perfect solution but both can be made to work if you play with them a bit.

seems top view is a orthographic view after all. some trees on a slope made me think otherwise.
Just did a test with a tall box with red sides while white on top and bottom. Put to the bottom of the render view and did a 2880 by 2880 render. No red could be seen. so it seems to be orthographic.
Thanks for the help anyway. :D
I confirm that apparently the top camera is orthographic (also in Pro). I created two cubes, one red and a slightly less large (in X,Y) green. I raised just a tiny bit the green cube and rendered with the light coming from the top. As expected from an orthographic projection, I got a green square sorrounded by a tiny red border, of equal width on all sides.
This means that Vue can be used as a texture generation program: create the texture you want and apply it to the ground, put the sun right above and render appropriately!
Bye!!!

I am trying to do a over head view of a scene.
I am planning on using it for a game.
I am wondering if there is anyway to do a orthographic render? I want to create a map for my game so a top down orthographic view is what I need.
Thank you for your time.
