Ok, I take that back... I double-clicked on the x-tran dial, set the min limit at 0 and the max limit at .275, then changed the name.
But when I roll the dial down to a negative number, the slide still moves off the body of the gun. I want the slide to stop at the 0 value and not move back any further.

Its easier if you have a cr2 editor, they organize poser files into easy to understand hierarchies. Dimension 3Ds Poser File Editor here at Rendo is a really good tool chock full of useful features. and if you plan on building much content its definitely a good investment. If you want to go on the Cheap and don't mind less features you can use CR2 Builder, or CR2 Editor, both free cr2 editors, You can find them fairly easily by googling them.

Hi everyone,
I'm just curious about something. I'm in the process of making a poseable prop of a semi-automatic handgun. The one part that will move on this prop will be the top slide, and it'll move left-to-right along the X-Translate dial. Is there a way to make it so the slide can move, but no more than a certain distance left or right?I'd like it to stay attached to the body of the gun, but still be slide back and forth. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks -
