Hi,

I just started with DAZ3d today and it is driving me mad.

I have downloaded Megan for V4, unzipped and placed in the DAZ/content/people folder. I start Daz and then open the Victoria figure and try to apply Megan to it but it says there are files missing and the program crashes. The same thing happens with other characters for Aiko also. Is this something to do with morphing? Some of the downloads say 'requires morph++" but what is that and where do you get it?

I also tried applying other characters like Samantha but all that happens is the head moves a bit and the eyeballs go squinty.

Am I just stupid or is the folder system in Daz awful. I have been working with this program all day and the content section is a nightmare to understand.

Help please.

You are not stupid, you only forgot to read the requirements before buying, downloading those products.

In order to make them work you need to buy (yes, buy!) this morphs www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/victoria-4-2.

To avoid problems like this, always read carefully the requirements! ^_-

I didn't buy anything as it was all free, just wasted a stack of time.

If you're just wanting to play with Daz and get a feel for what it can do, you can download Apollo Maximus. He comes with all his morphs, and he's free.

Be warned, though: Daz is crackware. The first taste may be free, but eventually you're gonna end up like the rest of us, tossing wads of cash at a "hobby".... :D
