"What 3D Program Should I buy?" Not one person here can really tell you what's best for you, as everyone has their own taste in workflow. Try the demo or learning edition of the program you're interested in, this is the only way to find out which programs you like.
Ideally the donor cr2 should go one body part beyond the clothing. So include neck and hands for a long sleeved shirt. That makes sure that any bends caused by that extra body part are transmitted properly to the clothing.
Check the joint inclusion zone , and make sure it is large enough to include the clothing , this is very important for wide sleeves .
Here is how you fix your problem http://www.philc.net/WW2_help.htm ( at the bottom of the page start the video with that green t-shirt named " Joint Parameter " )

Hi there, I need help... a little tip should do it...
I have made a dress for V4 with long wide sleeves. It works in Poser very well - but when I bend the arm of the V4 the sleeve "explodes" at the seam.
In the past I tried with the bones, I changed some polygones of the hand and forearm . But with this dress it doesn't work. Has anybody an idea what I have to do? Is this a JCM problem like the elbows?
I have no idea after hours of testing and testing....
I put some extra bones in it - but it doesn't work really. All polygons are included - that's sure.
I made bones with a new donor in Poser.... the sleeves of the dress work now but I can see some visible "bones" back in the pose room. I can't delete them and they are visible after rendering.
The thing is:
When I have unselect the "bend" in the parameter options for the forearm, the hem of the sleeve is correct, it doesn't explode. But then poser split the groups and there is a small split between the forearms and the shoulder of the sleeve.
Can anybody help???.... this dress drives me crazy.....
