The animation does look good... Obviously more and more move toward this type of thing with many 3D render packages going toward import of Poser figures... I wish that I could see more of the way that the water interracts with the import... That kind of physics modeling is not really available in Bryce at all, but requires quite a bit of specialized modeling. In fact, that's not really available anywhere for such a low price (3D Max plugins, perhaps but thats $$$). Anyway, it will be good to watch technology offer us more and more great tools!
Still sticking with Bryce, the interface is definetly not designed for the artist but for the programmer,it is an interface similar to Max, to me at least, I think I will stick with Bryce, I'm seeing the same Poser animation import availability coming soon for Bryce, and the water animation can easily be achieved with material operations or terrain deforming in Bryce, the only advantage WB has over Bryce is rendering speed(though I don't like the look of WB renders don't know why) and the grass...tree blowing effects, of which I have a few ideas using poser to create grass blowing effects at least...we shall see...
you can use the bryce interface snce the first time you use the program. I like two pictures programs, but i have bryce and i dont have AWB.(i see the demo) unfortunaly there is not any perfect program, all have good and bad things. The better way is get the good thing of every program(If you have enought money )

Anyone here heard of World Builder? The WB forum here, has a post with an animation of a Poser 4 animation that was imported into it. (Just about every Brycer's dream, back in the Metagreedations days.) It has animated trees blowing in the wind, with a Poser character walking along the beach. Considering that you can get the new "standard version 3" of WB for $299.00 right now,(thru Jul. 1st) it looks like a no brainer compared to waiting for Bryce 5. Might be time to jump ship, kiddies! Corel is nothing but a greedy ripoff anyway. I don't work for Digital Elements. http://www.digi-element.com/products.shtml
