Subject: anyone know what filter creates this...?

HEY GUYS

IVE BEEN ASKIN IN A FEW OTHER FORUMS WITH NO LUCK SO I THOUGHT ID ASK THE PRO'S HEHE

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE FILTER OR PLUG IN THAT WOULD CREATE THIS EFFECT
 

ITS ON A TEE SHIRT OF MINE AND WOULD LOVE TO CREATE SOMETHIN SIMILAR FOR MY NEW UNI PROJECT

I'm not sure but I think it looks like one from Penta called Jeans.

that filter only adds a texture over the image

i want the filter that modifies the picture to make the light areas of my photgraph to be fat lines, the medium areas to be thin lines and the dark areas to be left out -- like the face in my pic

Thats not a filter, its one of the halftone screen paterns you can apply when you convert to bitmap.

First change your image to greyscale, then the bitmap option becomes available.

Then change to bitmap and you will get this dialog.
change the method to halftone... and OK

That will get you to the halftone dialog...

You will have to experiment with the frequency and angle but the shape has to be set to line.

Its also worth playing with the contrast and brightness on the greyscale before you convert to bitmap.

I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
