Subject: Getting corrupt or damaged files

GrandmaPaula ( ) posted Fri, 14 November 2008 at 8:42 PM · edited Sat, 30 November 2024 at 2:12 PM

Hi, I purchased Shana_Workout_HongyuSportBabyV4

And everytime I try to unzip it, i get the message that it is corrupt or damaged.

The zip is 49.6 in size, but only 49.1 when I download it.

I have deleted it and came back here and downloaded it again. Same results.

How can I get the fixed zip please?

Thank you

Paula

Hi Paula,

By chance are you using a NetGear router?

Yes, I think so. I had this isuue before and someone here gave me dirrections for the fix and I did it. No problems until now again.LOL.

Of course, I forget the dirrections for the fix...

I just got the same product, and got the same problem. 49.1mb instead of 49.6mb

I bought the base outfit with this texture set and it downloaded and unzipped/installed without any problems.

Here was the link back when the problem happened in July.  Short of trying this, I'm not sure what else to suggest until I hear back from the programmers on what other trouble shooting I might try.  I've downloaded the file and extracted the contents with no problem, so it's difficult when I cannot duplicate the problem on my end :(

Please keep me informed, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

I have already done that. I just tried to download it again. Still only downloads 49.1 then I get the same message . File is damaged or corrupt.

Is there another way for me to get this zip file?

Thanks

Paula

Hi Paula,

One more question I failed to ask is what version of winzip are you using?  If you're not using the most recent version of winzip, please download the demo version from winzip.com and give that a try.

Please let me know.

I have winzip 12.0 pro.

But even if I didn't, I am not getting the full download. I should be getting 49.6 in size, but I am only getting 49.1

I have an email into the store tester that tested the product to see if there was something unusual during testing that may have caused the vendor to have to reupload the zip or what not.

Hi Debbie, I got your message and replied. I dont know what happened but it sent my reply about 4 times, 3 of them not completed. So the last reply is the full reply. Ignor the other 3.LOL

Hi Paula,

Ok, I've extracted the contents of the vendors file and rezipped it using winzip.  Winzip actually compressed the archive by 15MB's.  I've reset your downloads so you can redownload the file I zipped up.

Please let me know if that solves the problem.

Thank you so much for your patience while we work to get this resolved.
