Subject: WANTED: Hair brush for Poser

Mark@poser ( ) posted Sat, 13 December 2008 at 8:01 PM · edited Thu, 30 January 2025 at 12:35 PM

Maybe there's one out there somewhere but I can't seem to find it. I looking for a hair brush to pose with V4 or V3 to show her brushing her hair. It seems simple enough, and you'd think there's one around somewhere. I have no talent in terms of making such things. An obj or 3DS would work too. Can anyone help or point me to a site?

Thanks as always

Mark

Post a picture of the kind of brush you want.

Also, how detailed do you want it?  For instance, if you want every single tooth/fiber/bristle detailed, that's a bunch of geometry for a decent sized brush.  A brush with transmaps and bumps or even displacement maps which details the bristles would save a lot of power.

I went to the GOODY site and they show a lot of styles. I'm not really picky so any of those would do, but this one looked good to me.

As to the transmapping. it migth be a good question as to how a transmapped brush would react going thru transmapped hair. If I had to guess, I'd think this brush had about 120 pins in it. Maybe that would not be too many to do physically.

Thanks.
