I was just reading that a few Porn companies want a Federal bailout because their industry sales are down 22% in DVD sales.

I was just looking over some numbers and I think us as a 3d industry need a bail out also. I have not been able to afford to purchase as much as I used to from 2 years ago. My website traffic is down, which means my revenue is also down.

I say we get a bunch of artist together and go to D.C. and say "hey where is our cut?"

Nah, won't work.  We're not bloated cigar-sucking filthy rich robber barons.

The only way you can get these billions is to have billions already,
and especially to be one of Hank Paulson's good buddies.

I had to laugh when I heard that on the news... The economy is depressed because their "customers" are depressed and are not buying their fix. Heck, no! There are more important things than a few sex DVD, like food,  clothings, rent/ mortgage, etc. Sex DVDs, in my opinion are luxuries, net necessities.

Don't remember when I ever laughed that hard at the news... :lol:

Porn bailout?

IMO this country is about to get in a handbasket to political heck if something that stupid can make the news.

I was reading some other non poser forums earlier and this subject came up. Some one suggested we give the likes of the porn kings control of the automotive industry, maybe they could figure out a way to get them out of debt.

It was a joke started by Larry Flynt and the guy from "Girls gone wild".  They are putting everyone on, and it shot around the interweb.  They have as much right to a bailout as most of those currently in line - that's their point.

Kebnor is right. The whole point of this is Larry Flint, et al, making fun of those wanting a bailout. of course, they were doing that, but i don't recall anyone actually collecting.  i guess the reward money wasn't good enough, but the news being the news the info came out after all

the bailout in my opinion is what we all seem to know it is, payola for the rich under cover of help for the economy.  same as the oil industry and their war.  i agree with the tenant that work programs for the unemployed would go far further than bailouts.
