Wow, i was walking in the Supermarket and she appeared out of nowhere. And we stared at eachother's eyes.. However, she's shy her self so she didn't say anything except when she passed me..she said to her self , and i heard it    . She said my name.

That was very interesting. And she's from another country so i'm surprised she still living in my city.

Anyways, this has nothing to do with Poser but well....She was one of the teachers that inspired my Poser art ideas( indirectly)

Back when I was in nursing school I ran into one of my high school teachers. He was visiting someone. I looked at him and said "MR. COULTER!?" and he said "Well, if it isn't "  Then he said to call him by his first name, Dave.  I looked at him like he had 3 eyes and said "Oh no! I couldn't do that! You'll always be Mr. Coulter to me!!"  LMAO

I was so freaked out about the mere thought of calling him by his first name!  Yet when I was in grade 12 we were "drinking buddies" and used to go and spend most lunch hours in the local bar a few blocks from the school.  And he would loan me his car during my spare classes if I needed to go and run errands.

Two years ago I ran into my pre-calc algebra/trig teacher from college when I was going to get my thanksgiving turkey.  So I know the feeling.

WARK!

Thus Spoketh Winterclaw: a blog about a Winterclaw who speaks from time to time.

This sounds like one of those "hot 29 year old teacher/underage teenager" scenarios....LOL!

students and teachers hooking up is a fad these days :}

Passion is anger and love combined. So if it looks angry, give it some love!

If that is directed to my reply, then the answer is no.  While I was a "wild child", I was a good girl!   Mr. Coulter was my biology teacher. I knew his wife and his kids. We were just lunch time drinking buddies.

Now one of the gym teachers on the other hand was always making advances towards me. I remember at one dance, he was "supervising" and tried his best to get me to go up to his office with him.  He was very cute! And all of the girls including me, had a crush on him. But like I said, I was a good girl and didn't do stuff like that.

a few years ago, my folks and I moved from the city to the country. a year or 2 later, my 7th grade art teacher moved onto the same street and joined the same church. He didn't remember me bt after all those years and all those kids, can't blame him.

I saw my calculus teacher at a bonsai auction and I was thinking "where did she get the
dough to buy this stuff on a teacher's pittance?"

A couple of years ago, I ran into my old Geography teacher at a local supermarket.

After many years he still remembered my name.

He yelled it as I drove over his shopping trolley..!

His fault by the way and he wasn't hurt. But, it was nice to be remembered.

Happened to me the other way around, in a way. A couple of years after finishing university I was teaching advanced programming at a commercial learning institute - and in one of the courses an old university classmate turned up as a student.

You were visiting a bar in the 12th grade?  Wow.

dasquid ( ) posted Fri, 16 January 2009 at 2:15 PM

lol

when I was in the 6th grade ... that's right the 6th grade there was no art teacher that was at the elementary school so they would have a guy come in and  teach us stuff. when I went to junior high and high school same teacher because that was where he taught normally apparently. so now I'm in college many years later and who is the professor of one of my drawing classes? yup you  guessed it that same guy who taught art from 6th grade through high school. I think I was in  6th grade in 1980?

LOL! If you looked up teachers' salaries in various districts, you'd be surprised! (Especially if the teacher has a Master's degree or Doctorate.  :P

One can do a lot with 90,000+ a year (especially if he/she knows how to save)! ;)

I got engaged to my 9th through 12th grade principals son, 9 years after leaving that school, and after meeting the son on a blind date not having a clue who his dad was until I was brought home to meet his parents.  Yes, the principal remembered me :-)
