Actually not too far away from me, but personal circumstances prevent me driving all that way, although I'd love to be there.
If you feel any of my pieces would help your cause, give me a shout.
Good luck with this.

How long's it running for?ย I live West of Hull, but often travel down the M1 arresting illegal entrants in London so might be able to look in.
Ditto the Bryster as to using any of my pieces.

Congrats!!!ย I'll be there in spirit as Iย live way over in New York. ย That would be a swim, a hop and a skip to get there. If any of my renderings in Bryce can be useful for you to show, you have my permission to show it like Bryster.

Derbyshire ? no problemo - I'll just get some of my U.S.M.C. buddies to get me an air liftย ย there and H.A.L.O.ย in to the area where a couple of S.E.A.L. buddies will arrange submersible transportation to the nearestย Royal Naval Baseย and from there I'l hitch a ride - should be there in ten hours . . . Oh wait a minute ! ! !ย I need to get a passport first through the U.S. Postal Service and if you've ever had to deal with them, youย can imagineย how long thatย will takeย ย . . .
but seriously, congrats ! ! !ย ย And yes I did see Mr. Chips once or twice I really would like to see that place but it'll have to wait until I pass probation on my new job - only 10 months to go ! ! ! crossing my fingers on that but we'll see.
Yeah, I won't be there ... but I'll be thinking positive thoughts for you ! ! !

I'd be there too if it weren't for the fact that I'm too broke to travel and I live in New York. I love England and would have loved being able to visit there and catch your gallery exhibition.ย Can't wait to see some pics of the event. If by any chance I won the lottery last night, then I'll show up.
@ Paul, if you are going down the M1, you would come off at junction 24 the east midlands airport turnoff for the A50. From there it would take about 20 mins to get to Repton. If there is a day you feel you could make it let me know and I'll make sure I'll give you decent directions. It's on for the whole of March and I'll be there 2 days a week. But I'll be able to meet anytime that would be convenient for you. I'll shout you a pint and a sandwich if you did come!
Everyone else thanks for the support, and I'll be sure to post plenty of pics.

An exhibition of your work!.....thats really exciting news.....I had a few exhibitions of my work way back when I was painting on canvas and doing pastel drawings back in the 70s and 80s.....that was before the computer bug caught me. I wish the best of luck to ya and my spirit will be cheering you on in the background!
best of luck, sounds good. if i can make it i will (Kent based)

I've only been to England twice, but I pine to go back. I watch shows like Midsomer Murders just because I love to see the homes and towns and such. If I come across a book about England here at the library, I look at it and lament that I can't go back.
I may only be half English by birth, but I feel as if its home, when I see it. Heavy Sigh.
Funniest part to it all is that after I got back from my 2nd trip, I tried to find out where my great grandfather had lived and turns out, I never went thru the area he was from. So I have to go back, its a must, lol.
Wales just didn't do it for you then, Ang?
Oh well...heheh

.......to my first exhibition at a gallery. I know that the chances of anyone reading this that lives in my vacinity are next to nothing but maybe you'll be there in spirit. For the month of March I will have sole residency of a gallery in the village of Repton in Derbyshire. The plan really is to promote Digital art, and of course Bryce. The gallery is party of Repton College, which was used in the film "Goodbye Mr Chips". I'm hoping that I can promote Digital art to the schools pupils and also to whoever may pop in.
Just a mention of thanks to ICM, and Rochr who gave me permission to showcase some of their images to give an idea of what we as a community are capable of, when I put foward my pitch to secure a place. I should be ready by Monday so I'll post some photos of whats happening.
