Subject: Shoe modeling tutorial

I've written a tutorial on shoe modeling that is Poser-friendly, in the Cinema 4D forum:

While the modeler used is Cinema 4D, the techniques I demonstrate are common to pretty much any polygonal modeler.  Enjoy :)

Hey!

That was cool and nicely done.

Thanks Pjz99.

I'm going ahead and rigging the shoes in the example for SP3, and will pass them out as a freebie (probably tomorrow).  Enjoy :)

Incidentally, the rigged version of this shoe was not practical, as SP3's rig - the character's rig - appears to be screwed up, it doesn't produce a symmetrical deformation on both feet.  So no freebie for these shoes, sorry :)

It's the same with Hiro3 feet, the rig is not symmetrical.

That's really irritating, I see why Jim Burton was motivated to do Ingenue V3 / Glamourous Vickie (they're specifically rigged for high heels).
