Over all it's pretty cool but I found the black edits of up to 2 or 3 seconds to be quite distracting. Also i personally would have made that checkerboard tile floor a much larger scale. It seems out of proportion to the rest of the room and the small size is giving you the crawlies all over the floor.
Once
in a while I look around,
I see
a sound
and
try to write it down
Sometimes
they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again
Quest, thanks, yeah the music is my band, pleased you liked it.
Bobby, thanks for the critique. I'll be honest some of the black edits were there for purely artistic reasons and a couple are longer than I'd like but trying to work out what to put in and where was a bit awkward.
I had real battles with the floor in that room, trying to make the floor small enough that the room looked as huge as I wanted (I wanted it to be a cross between the Blue Mosque and the Sulimanie Mosque, both in Istanbul) but large enough to render without being both slow and giving me crawlies was really difficult. I wasn't really entirely happy with what I got but having spent nearly 24 hours rendering when I worked that out I felt I had to try to save it somehow.
Now all I have to do is work out which tune to do the next video for and which of the bits I've created will best fit it.

Not been on Renderosity in an age but I wanted to come and drop a link to a video I've just put up on YouTube which was put together using Bryce 6.1 and Windows Movie Maker. I got loads of help on this forum when I was putting together the external shots as I just couldn't get a sense of scale on it.I hadn't done any 3D work in ages and then realised that I could use some of the models and scenes I'd created to make animations for a video and this is the result. The sepia section is low quality because I didn't have 18 days to wait for the render (problem with overly complex buildings and lots of reflections) so I went for treating the video.
Anyway I'm dead chuffed with the results, thanks to everyone who gave me advice on getting the models sorted out.
