DAZ|Studio F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 28 3:41 pm)
I'm going to tag myself to Foxygoddess' question with one of my own. I downloaded Daz3d this week and I'm using the Victoria 4.2 that came with the latest version. Does that mean I have her "morphs ++" already? If not, where do I get them?
(I guess my real underlying question is, what are "morphs ++"? I've seen many references to them and even played with the sliders in Daz, but I'm still not exactly sure what they're for.)
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Ah, since this is the DAZ Studio forum I assumed you were using DAZ Studio - you should ask about Poser in the Poser forum (and about content such as Victoria in the forum for the application you are using it in). Poser doesn't have a show hidden command, you will need to find the pose someone (DavidGB?) made to unhide the hidden parameters.
Ok so..my question is - is there a difference between V4 EZ and V4.2 (duh.. kind of question right). Wen I load Morphs++, Creature Morphs or Aiko 4 I have to use the EZ version. None of the morphs will load on the regular V4 without the EZ. I have 4.2 in the Poser directory and EZ in the Studio content directory, will that make a difference (I dont know why its like that, I just never changed it). But some times while not paying attention I load the wrong one, load clothes , a texture and then go to load morphs and ...nothing so I have to delete it all and start over again with the right v4 version with ez that will load the morphs....is there a resolution difference between the two?
EZ, as supplied, is a subset of the full Victoria 4 and Morphs++. It can stil be updated with the actual Morphs++ and other addons. Your prblem is that the version in the Poser folder is incomplete but has been initialised, so it loads the items listed in its catalogue files, while the EZ version is where you've installed the addons and initialised them, so when you load that you get the full set. really, it's bad idea to have multiple installs of V4 and since you can apparently load V4 from the Studio folder I'd suggest getting rid of the version in the Poser folder (including all support files in Runtimelibraries!DAzVictoria 4 - just rename the Victoria 4 folder and make sure you can still load V4 in both applications, then delete the folder if all is OK)

How do you morph the body/facial features of Victoria 4? I know you could do it with victoria 3...I'm not used to the updated version of Daz so I can't find the place to morph my models bodily features. Help!
