Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 14 12:36 pm)
It appears to be for Aiko 4 but it's asking for a slew of files in the folder:
RuntimeLibrariesCharacterRox
e.g. injFBMA4AikoBody-abdomen.pz2
Where are those supposed to come from? I have A4 installed but not those files. I'm guessing you need to distribute those as well? Also, those usually seem to go directly under libraries ather than in characters. BUT, I know virtually nothing about inj other than how to double click one :-) Someone should be along shortly to get it sorted out for you.

I took a quick look at it and indeed it is an A4 which I currently do not have installed yet on my system. IIRC, there is an added morph set for this model so I'll have to install my base and morphs. The INJ files must be placed in the Pose folder. For distribution, the runtime convention must be followed for the files to work correctly. Unless someone beats me to it, I can test this out tonight when I get home.

You can include code in the INJ file to call the files containing the deltas (morphs).
In your INJ file you just use a line starting with 'readScript', then insert the path to the delta file starting at ':Runtime', and inside double quotes, and e.g:
readScript ":Runtime:libraries:!DAZ:Victoria 4:Deltas:Base:InjDeltas.PHMCheeksFlex.pz2"
I have no idea how, or if, you can do this with INJ magic, or inj pose builder, as I don't have either of these.
IPB should and does strip out all zero value morphs when building INJ/REM files. But IIRC this feature can be controlled within the app; you can determine if you want it or not. I have played with this program and I do have some familiarity with it. Again, I won't have a chance to play until this evening.
Injection Pose Builder relies on library link files and if you don't have one for V4 (4.1 and 4.2) and for Aiko 4 it won't work. I'm getting ready to post a tutorial on how to create library files for IPB as well as how to use it to make INJ/REM files and I'm going to put my .ill files for V4 and A4 up in my free stuff.

I've submitted the .ill files in zip form for inclusion in my free stuff. They're on my website but it takes about 24 hours for the freestuff to be approved. If you need them before then, just site mail me and I'll give you the link.
I still have to convert the tut into .pdf format and I'm working on promos for a new product so it will be a day or two before I get that up.

It took me a while to respond, was having issues with my own Injection Magic but everything has been resolved. I ran a small test creating INJ/REM files for Aiko 4, tested them and then compared the files with what you created. Firstly, the files referred to in your Rox folder shouldn't be in the INJ/REM files. In my own Aiko 4 installation, those files were dumped in the runtime. (IMO, not very organized). This explains why the script is searching for those files, originally they don't install into the Rox folder.
Secondly, I believe that the 'Non-zero Morphs only' is unchecked. Your INJ/REM files are populated with Deltas that are not necessary. I wonder if the A4 definition files were correctly created.
You would not need to have all the morph files installed, but they need to be present in the same runtime folder for Injection Magic to correctly create the definition and INJ/REM files. Don't rearrange contents of your folder when creating INJ/REM files. These files draw on the runtime hierarchy they assume exists on all original installations. Change something and it will not work on a different computer.
Quote - @Victoria_Lee: remember, Idolstar is using Injection Magic to generate INJ/REM files. I have tested your definitions for IPB and they work excellently. Thank you very much for your work.
She, also, has IPB and she said it would go to Parse and stop but I think that's because she doesn't have the right library files.
You're all welcome for the files. Just a little something to give back.

Which is why my files are zipped from the Program Files directory. In my notes it says to point the zip program to the HDD where Injection Pose Builder lives and everything will extract to the correct folder. I thought that was the easiest way since a lot of people don't understand about file structure inside of a program.
