Actually the thumb size max is 200x200. But it can "weigh" no more than 15KB. Make sure that it's been saved at a sufficiently "compressed" size to fit into that.

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it
into a fruit salad.
One of the easiest ways to create thumbnails is to download and
use Easy Thumbnails from Fookes Software.
Let us know how that works out for you.
Comments, please.

If you've got nudity, you definitely don't want the thumbnail generated automatically, 'cause they don't allow it in the thumbnails.
I've also found that I get more views when there's only a hint of the picture in the thumbnail... it seems to draw people in.
I've never tried it, but the importer says it supports PNG files. You might try making the thumbnail the size you want, then adding a transparent border around it, then saving it as PNG. Wirth a shot, then you can always upload a JPEG if it doesn't work.

Why is it such a struggle to upload to a gallery here. I
ve been trying since yesterday but always get an error message that my thumbnail is too big. It is a 190x92 jpg. If I try a second time I get a different message saying the file doesn
t exist. I seem to get this every time I try to upload until it eventually accepts the image. Very annoying.
