I'm a beginner too, but first off, I'd say turn on the TRANSPARANCY for eyebrows and eyelashes (and use a transmap if you have one - there is probably one already in your library - just do a search for 'eyelash'. Second, I'd say on the eyebrows, morph those suckers DOWN (unless you're going for the Henry Kissinger look). :-) Otherwise, it looks like you're off to a good start. ... ummm, well maybe a little color on the lips??? have fun... Another attempt at my texture, I seem to be getting the hang of the eyelashes a little better ( have to make them longer I see !) , but I can't figure out the eyebrows :( On this sample I just used what was on the picture I took. Do you paint the eyebrows on then do a trans map, or do you paint the color you want for the brows on the texture map brow section and then do a trans map? And why are there 4 sets of brows? lol Dazed and confused. And what is a good lip color for a man? I need to darken the upper lip some more, but I don't want him to look like he's wearing lipstick! Thanks for any help :)

It looks like your trans map for the eyelashes does not include any mapping for the eyebrow (some do, some don't), so your image brows are disappearing. Play with the trans settings on the brows (leave the lashes at 100%) but lower the brow trans and see if your natural image shows up - be sure to set the color slider to white for the brows if you want to see the ones in your image and not just a brown blob. As far as lip color goes - mix a little violet (pale mauve) with what you have for a start. Keep it toward the blue side of red (slightly toward purple)and not to the yellow side to avoid a "lipstick look" by all means keep the color saturation low. its looking very good.
