:-) This is something I do all the time but usually by mistake. I can take a stationary object and put a motion blur on it without even trying. LOL

I just love McEnroe! He's so expressive! Or maybe its the photographer that makes him that way? As for Hurling, I think decie has converted me. I've never seen it here and I can't get enough of his great game shots! That water shot is great. Lately I've been working with moving water and its not so easy.

First pic is of a departing red-bellied woodpecker...sorry for the tail shot:-)
In the process of figuring out how to shoot these fast movers, I was only using a shutter speed of 1/160 of a second. Seeing this shot, I went to 1/250th next.
This pic normally wouldn't be used by me but seems to fit the challenge???

Those bird shots are like mine... dang if they would just flap a little slower or stop twitching on the perch! LOL I can honestly appreciate them and enjoy them. As for the Hurling shot... good heavens! Stunning action but for me to see And maybe even more stunning for the guy getting clobbered!

This guy dowsn't like the millit seeds (little round hard seeds) and is looking for the peanuts included in the songbird seed mixture.
He throws seeds to the deck...and my friendly chipmunk is 100% satisfied with the result.
I can't believe it...this is number 3 for me already.

Awesome Turnaround! The speed with which those balls are moving is sooooo well done! Makes my head spin! :-)
Bill, that is enough to make me break down and roll on the floor with laughter. I used to watch my pigeons eat seed and they couldn't just pick one up and eat it....NOOOOOOOOO... they had to sling seed everywhere and find one, just the same as the ones they'd just slung around the room, and then they'd walk around with it like it was some great prize it'd found... more of their meals ended up on the coop floor than got in them. Looks like this guy of yours has some preferences about his food as well.
