Would the script in this thread help?If so, try giving semidieu an IM for it, as it doesn't appear to be downloadable anymore.
I've just found it on my machine, and the readme says to just use it, and not sell it, so I've attached it to this post. Save the attachment and remove the .txt from the file name, it will become a zip file.

Ok.... so I work alot with the toon renders, and am getting ready to put out a series of toon material shades. the prob is, to use the render toon line, which I like MUCH better than the line function in the toon nodes, I have to assign every single thing that I want outlined a toon id. I can certainly do this, but it takes forever! Anyone know of an automation tool that would just assign everything a different toon ID, then I could go back and match the ones that I DON'T want seperated?
