Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 10 10:34 am)
If there's a .rsr file included with the .obj, try deleting that and opening it again, after closing Poser and re-starting it. You might even want to re-boot. Sometimes .rsr files will mysteriously corrupt themselves. Poser will rebuild it the next time though, so there's no harm in trying. If it's not that,. then yes, there must be something wrong with the .obj-- I think.
I don't know if this is related, but... If the obj in question is one that you previously loaded OK then it is something corrupted or moved since last using it. If it is a NEW obj that you downloaded, it might have been altered to remove copyrighted material - in which case you need the original objs on your system and need to merge the data, and create a new combined obj that has the full information. I'm still new at this myself, so don't know the exact method, but the theory is appropriate.

I seem to be having a problem here. It seems that every time I load a new file for clothing, I put everything where it belongs, the thumb nail shows in the libraries, but when I try to open it, I get the error that the obj can't be opened and then the out of memory error. What can I do to change this? The zips I downloaded, came from the free stuff area here.
