Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 02 2:22 am)
A character with four arms does exist over at RuntimeDNA.

And there is a morph package available.
There once was a 4 armed Vicky 2 or 3. She's still in my runtime somewhere. I once had visions of doing a Shiva render. However, I don't believe anyone has done a 4 armed V4. Shame that.

Victoria_468arms package was distrib. by numi et al. in 2002. he duplicated the arm joint sections in the cr2 file, then changed all instances of joint names, e.g. rShldr became r2Shldr in the second right arm. it's a rather tricky and time-consuming editing procedure, but it obviates the problem of a second hidden body.
Thanks for the valuable input! :)
Yup hiding the remaining parts came to my mind but when I need to do some action pose, it doesn't seems to work effectively.
I like the idea of the "anatomically-correct" four-armed male approach! But I am not quite sure how to have it done.
Is there a way to .. hmm, say, "cut" the part above the chest of one character, and then "paste" it on top on the chest of other character? (wow in that case we can even make a 8 arms spiderman! :D)
and thanks for the link hborre, that character just look awesome!
Cheers
Quote - Depending on how you plan to use it, in some cases you can simply hide all the parts except the arms. I've attached an example. I shrank the duplicate 5% as well for a better over/under shoulder fit.
well, that works a bit, but I decided to try some other ways. Your way works for a one behind the other arangement, but not so much for above and below types. I tried the above and below type, found that increasing the breast size of the female a tad bit worked.
Also, trying to do that anyway for V3- and Aiko3 dosnt work so well, so if you are trying to add arms, best to stick with P4 or V4/A4

Well, I've been thinking about creating a cartoon characters like the monster in Mortal Kombat.
My idea (which could be way wrong) is to put 2 models in the project, then "cut" the arms from one of them and set the new parent to the remaining model.
However I am not really good at "cutting" parts from a model. Anyone can give some insights?
Thanks in advance! :)
