Hi Gary; this was a problem for me in Infinite, with the first release of 7.4. It was fixed and all I needed to do was re download the patch and install it., although I did uninstall the offending release/patch first. Could this be your problem in Xstream?

The first release of 7.4 had a bug whereby none of the settings would stick. E-On fixed it in pretty short order - if you download the patch for 7.4 now it should work fine (does for me anyway)

I had a similar problem awhile ago when running Vue on a Windows Vista PC. Running it in Administrator mode and then finding where Poser was fixed it for me as Vue could then store where Poser was. Don't know if thats your problem but it might be worth a try.

Another solution is to disable the UAC if you are running Vista (if not already done).

It happens on XP as well - it's not a permissions problem, there was a bug in the patch

I am running V7xstr 7.4. Whenever I import a poser file it always asks me to locate poser on my computer. Everytime I do this it works fine until I quit the program and restart it. Then the whole process repeats. It never saves that information.
Also, in the preferences where I can change the orientation of my axis', I try to set "Y" axis as up and down and it always changes back all by itself when I quit and restart.
Anyone got a solution for this?
