Weird! Clearly the first picture was taken on some planet in the next solar sytem. The two are sooooo different. It's like the light was sucked out of the plants. ( Yes I meant to type LIGHT! ) They arn't dark they are dull colorless and lifless. Can make some really good scarry pictures with them. Have you tried a portrait yet? Bsteph

I just can't get enough of IR--and find more ways to distort and play with illusion. Here's one done with evening light--not nearly as much 'flash' to the original IR (good strong daylight/sun is best for that really eerie white effect with the plants its seems). This is called 'false color' IR. The tall object is a 'bean tower'--I plant hyacinth beans for the hummers. It will become totally bean plant covered and the plants will have magenta flowers. They seem to grow about 6 inches a night LOL. The garden is my veg/herb garden. I still haven't gotten off my own acreage to find other subjects--maybe the weekend *S*.
