Quote - Actually, just announced ... Michael Jackson has passed away as well. What a shock.
source?
I have CNN on right now and there is nothing about him passing. he was taken to the hospital for cardiac arrest
he's NOT dead yet as far as what I am hearing now.
this is from msnbc.com:
LA Times now says he's dead...
Requiescat in Pacem...

I felt sadder over Farrah's death than Michael's. It's largely because his death has overshadowed hers--and his increasingly bizarre life had begun to eclipse his music. Michael Jackson's musical career was far bigger than Farrah Fawcett's acting/modeling career. I've still been surprised at the lack of time given on news programs to Farrah's life.
In the 70s, Farrah was nearly as iconic a figure as Michael was in the 90s. Michael's music will be a more enduring legacy than "Charlie's Angels". Farrah's red swimsuit poster became the biggest selling poster of all time and it was hard to pass a newstand in the 70s without seeing her face gracing a dozen or more magazines. Farrah's struggle with cancer made her a more tragic figure than Michael's self-inflicted problems. Michael Jackson, in the last few years, looked more like Lon Chaney's phantom than he did Michael Jackson. It's a lot harder to be sympathetic to somebody that butchered their face and life than somebody that became overwhelmed by fame and later couldn't recover that fame when she wanted it again decades later.
