That's pretty good, although WOW elves tend to have a longer face and smaller breasts. Shouldn't the skin be dark blue though?
Awesome.... you can get nightelves that are that colour....
And that means you play alliance.....bah "FOR THE HORDE"! Lol
(Im a blood elf mage lol)

I was on a big dark/night elf kick recently... Love the ears you have going here. I'd like to be able to post something showing the take I had done on the subject because it was fun stuff, but figure I can't because they'll say it's a commercial post. Kinda sucks in a weird way: we make stuff for a living, but hardly get time to do as much "art" rendering with it I would like. Anyway, at the very least here's something from our gallery here at Rendo and good luck getting your character together. -Les
Thanks. I blame Zbrush. Love that app. Love it. Love it. Just spent the past 2 hrs working in it and probably spend at least 5-7hrs a day with it for production. Nothing ever had the effect on my texture work as Zbrush and what's more, even with normal and displacement mapping in Poser Pro, it can really suck to see the difference when going from a full on Zbrush sculpt/texture session to how little of that Poser is actually capable of capturing. Very aggravating when there are game engines that respond better to normal and displacement mapping and have better specularity models in them. Been getting some really killer results out of DS lately, though it's still some of the same. I guess that's the curse of Zbrush: to do my work in there, I push the poly count up to a minimum 4 million polys, often times pushing to 12-16million depending on what's needed. At that point, there's just no comparison. But at least I think I'm continuing to find better and better ways to maintain the integrity of the work as it goes to Poser and DS. It will probably never be 100% of what I see when I'm working in Zbrush, but we keep working to push those boundaries as hard as possible. -Les
When I get through this clothing modeling crunch I'm in right now (entirely self-motivated) I really need to just spend a few weeks texturing and get it over with, I suck at it because I spend a lot of time looking for reasons to avoid learning it. I have Zbrush 3 and Bodypaint, not like I don't have tools for it, I just don't like to be bad at things.
Yes, Zbrush is an awesome app. Like you I find it difficult to capture the same level of detail from ZB to Poser...hell I even find it difficult to capture the same level of detail from ZB to Max! lol. Nothing beats what it looks like in ZB.
Good UV's, Photoshop skills (knowing how to create a bump/spec from the diffuse) and helper apps (CrazyBump) can help a lot too.
