Subject: INJ and Morph help needed

jetstream ( ) posted Tue, 14 July 2009 at 5:43 PM · edited Thu, 07 November 2024 at 1:14 PM

I have installed DAZ on a new PC after a few months without a PC.

I loaded MIKI on today and drew a blank when trying to get a morph to work , using the INJ command. The MAT function is working as the textures appear on the figure. However trying to get the morph working is problematic.

I am probably missing something very basic as it has been a while since i used DAZ. Could someone advise me what the problem might be. Sorry , i feel like a noob again!.

make sure the figure is selected in the scene tab before trying to inject morphs

A few things to look at:

  1. Some INJ poses inject the dials but don't set them.  You need to then set the dials manually.
  2. If the INJ poses were made with binary morph targets you need the free InjectPMD script from here:  www.4shared.com/dir/4851309/fc76215/DS_Plugins.html
The DS3.0 version just installs and then works automatically; the DS2.3 version has to be run first instead of clicking on the INJ pose.

Thanks!

I used the download for my 2.3 installation. I can now get the morphs to load by going into the edit menu ( they do not work if you click on the pic ).

It gives a message @ all morphs not loaded - check log @ at end but I looked at the menu where the log should be and it wasn't there!

In DS2.3 the log file is in the same folder as D|S -- the default is DAZStudio.
