Subject: Half of object does not show up after import

I created a belt for Vicki in Rhino 2.0 but when I imported it (after UV Mapping it) only the back half shows. It renders just fine but it would be nice to see all of it when not rendered. I tried using the Grouping tool to flip individual polygons, but that did not help. Rhino shows the UVs facing the correct way. Any suggestions?

try checking "make normals consistent" when you import.

Check out reply #7 You need to check your normals before exporting to Poser. smerc

In Rhino before export, check the surface direction, if the arrows point inwards, type flip and hit enter. then make the mesh and export. This will correct the direction of the surface. The image highlights the direction arrows and the tool button for it.
