Im still learning Vue and im trying to make a scene where the camera starts underground and moves up through the plain and shows the whole area. but I cant get my camera to animate up or down. it'll only go side to side or front to back. what do i need to do?

Thanks

I think you have to unlock the camera height. It is in the upper right attribute window when you have selected the camera.

One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.

I dont know if this matters but im using pioneer and I dont see anything in the attributes section about unlocking the camera. I have everything set up i just cant get the camera to animate moving up or down.

Left of the Height value box up in the camera properties, there is a padlock (right?) inside a yellow box. Click it, and the padlock should now be gray and not inside a yellow box. The "fixed-distance-from-objects-below" lock is now off. Generally, I work with this OFF all the time, except for when working close to bumpy mountains and displaced water. Other than that, I disable it as soon as I start working on my scene.

I think this counts for every Vue version with the camera lock built in...

Cheers,
