You can go here to get the dial settings for the character
http://www.poserbydesign.com/mystery/Poser%20Mystery%20Character.htm
It's not an actual download, just a screen shot of the dial settings used to create the character. It will be a while before the site offers character downloads

Interesting idea. I think I would have preferred some discussion about the settings though, why you chose them, what effect you were going for, how they complement each other etc. I'd be more interested in which morphs to adjust to achieve different effects, age, ethnicity, character, expressions etc - beyond the obvious labeled ones - ageing an existing character without losing their unique look., how the face changes for heavier characters, yada, yada. :-) That may be beyond the scope of what you want to do but having some good general direction like that would more likely inspire me to experiment.

Thanks for that input. I'll have to do that for the next one. Your input helps a lot and I'll remember to make sure I have that type of information included next time.

Did anyone (non poser experts) have trouble with the dials? I'm trying to decide how well the Mystery Character works for giving people practice with morphing new characters. Was it a hassle? Did morphing the character manually help give ideas for new characters?

It would be interesting to know exactly what Poser Figure those Morphs need to be applied to???

You would need the Aiko 3 model and her morphs in order to use the settings. You can find that character on the DAZ3D website. I have information about the required models on the page and 2 of the 6 skin textures that works well with the morphs.
I was kinda in agreement with marinier. the page didn't say which model to use. I guessed it was aiko since her pic was on the page and i saw a morph for "realistic" and she's the only one i knew had that.
otherwise it was an interesting was of giving away a character. great for those of us who learn by doiung.

Guys, when there's a picture of Aiko 3 and it says "You'll need this", it's pretty obvious, isnt it? I mean, is there some confusion I'm missing here?
Just sayin'...

I am a dinosaur I guess, I happen to like seeing things In Print. Just like I happen to like reading printed Manuals, not electronic files on a screen.

'...there's a picture of Aiko 3 ...'' Some people may see the picture and not still know which figure it is. Aiko 3 is a fairly old figure so newer users may not be familiar with her.. I know Aiko, but had it been Hiro (or almost any of the male figures) I'd have been at a loss, especially from a thumbnail, so I guess I'm less inclined to be confused that anyone could possibly be confused.
You can click on the picture and go to Daz and find out which figure it is, but it would be more helpful IMO to simply say "Aiko 3" - especially since the feature seems intended, to some degree, to appeal to newer Poser users.

It wasn't that obvious to me. I overlooked it because at a glance it looked like another ad and not part of the "Mystery Character". I took me a bit of looking around the page to realize that it wasn't an ad but part of the "Mystery Character"
*" they're supposed to KNOW who the base figure is" *
I don't think that was the intention. The necessary information is available (i.e. click on the image) it just wasn't presented as clearly as it might have been. Hopefully, FightingWolf will continue with the concept and tweak as needed.

Thanks for the help guys. I've made some of the changes that were suggested and I'll keep working on the mystery character concept. I want to make sure that the next one is clear and easy to understand. I have added text above the images explaining which base is required.
I also added a bold red text (which I hope isn't too hard on the eyes), explaining which characters are needed. Thanks again for your help. I have a pack of 10 poses that I made for Aiko 3 that I can give to you as a way to show my appreciation. I'll send information on where to get them this week.
