Subject: External renderer not working

Friends,

My external renderer has stopped working.  The black screen shows the usual progress however the timing steps are always the same and very slow, no matter whether an ordinarily fast or slow TGA is being processed. No actual render (in my case tga) is actually produced. This has happened before and was one of the reasons that I wiped my hard drive and reinstalled everything only about a month ago. I do not want to do this again and Vue 7.5 is basically useless to me if the external renderer does not work. I am using a Vista 64 bit 4 core computer.

Many thanks,

Cory Sea

Did you try a Rendercow on your local PC only? If this instance would work it'd be a network problem.
Next step would be to look for the firewall settings on all of your PCs.

Thank you. I'm not doing any network rendering or using the render cow. I'm only trying to render an animation using the external renderer on the one computer.

The latest 7.5 release of Rendercow (HyperVue) is broken and all of us are waiting on a fix.
