Subject: Aging Hiro 4

Pedrith ( ) posted Mon, 07 September 2009 at 8:28 PM · edited Tue, 24 December 2024 at 11:35 AM

Hi.  I was wondering if there is a way to age Hiro, as some of my characters for my comic are much older.  Some are middle-aged while a few are early seventies, early eighties.  I noticed that there are no morphs to age Hiro 4, nor there seems to be any textures.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

David

The   option should be in the M4 Morphs ++
You need the M4 and his morph loader and morphs ++
thru the morph loader you can choose the morphs to turn M4 into the Hiro 4 character.

Play with the face dials - good to have Morphs++ on board, if you've bought those.

Use a skin texture from an older character set.

If going strictly by Anime style canon, either have a pudgy round older man look, or a had, square-jawed look.  Older heros can still be massively muscular.  Reduce size of eyes, even in strict Anime canon styling.  Salaryman look usually with spectacles, bland expression, suit and briefcase but that species is vanishing from street life these days.

Thanks for  the help.  The morphs ++ helped  Are there texture sets for old people?  Or photoshop brushes?

Cheers,

David

I'm pretty sure that you can use M4 textures on H4. ...if that helps.
You might try doing a search in free stuff here and luck into something.  :m_smile:

Nytoprod has a couple of older ones (look at my gallery for Duval). they are quite good. There is Grandmaster  on Daz I think. Not many though. You can also try using a bump map from one of the older guys with one of your favorite other textures (also some displacement if you want). That isn't perfect but it helps age them a bit.

I've been looking for a photoshop bruch that can help make aged textures for models but haven't found anything that relaly works yet. Cracks don't look write nor do spider webs. I'll let you know if I find anything.
