ReadingDragon & Friends are proud to present: Countdown to October!
I've been elected the PR person for the event, so let me tell you a little bit about it. There is no need to sign up for anything to get the freebies, even though ReadingDragon's site does have a message board people can sign up for if they wish to chat about Paint Shop Pro and related subjects. There are no strings attached to these freebies other than following the terms of use for each item.
What is it? Our Countdown to October is a public 14-day freebie festival for the 2D and 3D communities.
Why are you doing this? Short answer: to give back a little. Longer answer: Each of the main contributors has been a member of either or both communities for a number of years. We’ve snagged a lot of goodies along the way from some very talented, generous souls. Though our little event isn’t as big as some of events we’ve enjoyed snagging from in the past, we hope to bring a little bit of joy to the communities with our gifts.
When is the event? September 17th-30th.

Why are you doing a pre-October event?** Several of the bigger communities typically do big Halloween bashes in October. We wanted to do ours a little bit sooner to give people a bit longer to actually be able to use our gifts before Halloween.
What kinds of items will be offered? To name a few, submitted items include: backgrounds, brushes, gradients, png and psd images, Poser-related goodies, and so on. We don’t want to give a way the surprises, so that’s all we’re going to say.
Who are the contributors? ReadingDragon, Luna, Tiggersprings, and Papermoon.
Enjoy the party! If you like what we’ve prepared you you, leaving thanks and shout outs on the pages would be welcome! Since this is our first try at doing a freebie festival, we tried to prepare a variety of items. We hope everyone finds something they enjoy. :)
