can anyone point me in the direction of  some tutorials on how to make hair for DAZ?

barring that, could anyone help me directly in making a hair prop?

The method would be the same as making hair for Poser - see if there any tutorials on that. There are a couple of recent threads on hair at the DAZ forums.

 basically, im looking for a hair prop that resembles the front part of sephiroth's hair (the bangs and back to the ears)

mitsu hair from DAZ can cover everything from the ears back, though
