This is the second image in a set I am working on. The girl and the hand are poser3 figures. It was rendered in Cinema4D. I beat the tar out of it in photoshop. I hope you like it.

I dont think the shackles count

Screw, I think that the dual rating on this picture could result from over cautiousness on the side of the creator. Which in itself resulted from a rather controversial and heated discussion here (when the site was known as PoserForum Online)over censorship and nudity. The end result was the addition of Nudity and Violence content options when posting. Some people myself included tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to clicking on content. Better to warn on something that to you maybe minor but to others may be offensive. Eshal

Emperor, Maybe if you attached the shackles to the wall with a chain the figure it would add a more realistic reason for her painful pose. I think the textures you used on both the hand and the figure are interesting, maybe not what I would use on these particular figures but I can think of a couple of other things I could use them on :)Where did you get the background texture from, it somehow looks familiar. (but hey that's only my opinion right :) Regards Eshal

I find the textures to be disturbing for some reason. Is that the effect you wanted? -JH.

screw, as this is My first post to the forum, I just wanted to make sure that nobody was caught off gaurd by the content. Eshal, the girl is held but only bound to her self. Its a symbolism thing. the wall texture is the result of the xenofex baked earth effect. perhaps I'll post the others as time goes by.

Cool Image Me likes it If I may suggest: You might want to try less lights I see 5 shadows on the wall maybe more? Fewer lights will give this image more depth and a darker feel. it could also make the wall look thicker. Please don't take this the wrong way as I like this image alot. It's just some things that I would try. Spike

Spike, There are nine lights in a three by three aray. five of them cast shadows. I was working with lighting and shadow in this series. In part to show a mood, but also to add a feeling of the space. Jeff H, I'm glad you find the textures disturbing. that was a large part of what they were intended for. most of the work on them came in post production (photoshop) the original render was a flat colored hand and figure, the wall was white. just the highlight and the shadow chanel were important. I'll post another one when I get home from work...

If you don't want to attach the shackles, why not move her arms a bit so she is reaching towards something? As it is, her hands are a bit limp in comparison to her stretched out form. Like the others, I like the image and had to put in my 2 cents.
