Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 08 8:41 am)
It is amazing. But I think I missed something! I saw people in the audience crying.... not sure what that was about.
Also, after the park bench scene she seemed to change it to something else. I didn't really "see" a picture in whatever else she was supposed to be creating right after that.

say." - Ghandi
I think the idea is that she's telling a story with the images she creates. The images organically grow and change as the story progresses. The story was probably something emotive (hence the people in audience crying). Nice stuff.

Ahhh! Ok. Then I totally missed the entire concept. I thought she was just making random images.
Very talented though. I never dreamed you could actually draw with sand.

I wish there was a version with the spoken narrative translated into English - I think there's a lot more going on here (a cultural narrative) than first meets the eye.

Absolutely amazing! Thanks for sharing this :)
(I wanted to add....even without the translation...am I the only one who got teary eyed at the piece she was creating while the orchestra was playing Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters"?)

Hmmm. I didn't have my sound on, so maybe that's why I completely missed it.
I'll listen again later.

The sound and music is half o9f the experience. Without it, it probably won't have the same impact.
As for the concept and storyline.. it says so in the YouTube notes right beside it :) It gives a brief explanation of who she is and what she's doing.
Search Youtube for Sand Painting. There's a LOT of them, most of them very nice :)
National Geographic Channel had some they used as breaks about a year ago.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

I definitely agree...it's as if she dances with the sand. It really is breathtaking :)

Doh!! That's what happens when you fail to click the 'more...' in the notes.

I listened again with the sound on. Now I see what people were so weepy :( I found myself weepy too!
I'm part Ukrainian and I'm ashamed to admit that I know next to nothing about their history. :(

That was inspiring and awesome. I could tell from her actions, her body language it wasn't random. She told a story in real time by sand painting. I never imagined it was even possible to do. Life IS filled with the unimaginable.
That had to be one of the most moving (literally) stories about World War two I have ever seen. Thank you for posting this.
