just a question for all of you single guys who use poser.

Just like other girls, Poser girls demand I spend a lot of money on them for clothes and other accessories.  Making my ideal girlfriend in Poser, just as dating her in real life, would cost too much money.

Short answer... yes... i am way too shy to talk to real girls =/

I made a version of PurpleJelly ages ago.  There's a pic of her in all her nekkid glory in my gallery.

Poser girls have one huge advantage : they don't talk.

Neither do they yell, shout, nag, beg, scream, whine, etc ...

What a relief.

jgodeau steer clear of Mimic or Talk Designer if you want to keep them silent. ;)

ps Wolf the site TOS forbids me telling you what I do to them after I've made them, just know that it's never pleasant.

 Talk about your exercises in futility. To idealize is to distort or lie about your feelings. I suppose mine would be a woman who could love me, so that cannot be made in Poser.  I have more profitable things to do than make beat-off babes. :laugh: Look at internet pr0n if you need to.

That's the final straw. Poser sucks. Smith Micro do not care about their users at all, or they would have implemented that feature by now. I'll leave this sinking ship now before it goes up in flames.

Ok,  I've got to add my slant on this.  My ideal girlfriend is the love of my life whom I've know for over 40 years.  I do tend to use her younger images ... cultural standards of beauty probably a culperate (sp)  in this.

Here is a Poser/Photoshop piece I made of her not too long ago.

And here is a Photoshop pen/ink "hand" drawn piece I did of her a couple years ago.

AND here is a photo of her to compare. 

So ... there you have it.  It's not perfect by any means but I think it captures her.

I agree with Penguinisto, myself.  Cage may or may not have tried to create his ideal girlfriend using Poser.  Either way, the ideal has better joints.  Hopefully most real people have better joints, too.
