I did notice the little anomaly in the right eye there, and its been fixed. Little white glow or something, just me being sloppy.

Don't know if its just me, but the wires in the first one need a drop shadow or something to make it look more real. Now it could be me, but that might look better..Other than that, I love it...I can't wait to see the finished project. Leigh

Best way to create shadows is to either draw them in manually, or do fill on separate layers. Using a drop shadow filter puts everything on one layer, so what happens if 35 actions down the line you realize you want to change the direction/colour of the shadow? Ya get screwed... anyhoo, I'll be adding the rest of the shadows and such when I put ito on top of the other pic, however way I'll do it. There are shadows on her face though if ya look...

Actually, in PS6 and 5.5, you can change the shadows via the layer control at any time you want as long as you haven't merged layers or flattened the image. This is getting cooler... How many years before it's done?

Here's another way of putting drop shadows in a new layer without using the default shadow effects and eye candy in PS-- 1. select outline of the object 2. create new layer 3. fill in the selection with solid color (gray or black or whatever you want the shadow color to be) 4. go to Effects|Blur|Gaussian Blur and customize the effect 5. play around with the opacity and the position of the shadow. This way if you want to remove the drop shadow or change its color anytime, you may do so without so much hassle. Of course, you guys might know this already. :-)
