What do you mean by imported characters? If they are characters for the DAZ figures the morphs should still be available, though depending on how the character or the expression pose (if you aren't dialing up your own) were created you may find that one pose zeroes the other - unfortunately the fix for this is to save a Pose preset and in the options dialogue make sure you deselect the morphs you want to leave unchanged.
I created my characters oudside Daz. Mainly dae files. In Daz I use the skeleton plugin for the skeleton setup, but I have no solution yet for facial morphing. I am not sure, but I think it is something like injection of morphs. If I do not have facial morphs I also cannot use Lip sync for instance.
OK, so this is a new mesh? If so, you need to also create the morphs in whatever tool you used for modelling, then use Morph Loader to load them (making sure you use the right scale or your morph will have unintended effects). If you have the Advanced Figure Setup Tools then you can use Morph Loader Pro to load multiple morphs in one operation, otherwise the basic Morph Loader works one at a time. Both are in the Edit menu.

The daz figures have them included, but how do I get facial morph (smile, eye brows) into imported characters. Is there a plugin for this or another way?
