Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 11 9:00 am)
It's a little on the red side IMO. Not much but he looks like he is kinda flustered :)
Also, and I don't know if they're part of it, the eyes are too glossy, they're like marbles or something.
Other than that? YUM! Good job!

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
Skin-wise: This is by far the best I've seen from you, IMO.
The eyes do continue to need work, and the space between mouth and chin seems rather exaggerated, although the lips don't look quite as unnatural to me as other characters I've seen of yours. I definitely think you're making progress.

Yep the reflection isn't as strong where the light doesn't hit it them straight on, I just spent a few minutes studying my eyes in a mirror with 2 different light sources at once, the Window with blue sunny sky outside & the PC screen, both looked very similar to what you've got there with the pc screen being the softest light.
They still look a little pink in the Whites but looking at mine right now they've got a bit of pink in them as well, it's early morning. ;)

I wish I could get my webcam to work so I could show you my eyes, the reflection from the window is very clear thanks to the strong light coming in & the light from the pc monitor is blurry, the reflection is just like the one Iuvenis has in the second example without the pink tint. ;)

Anthanasisus, the skin looks like it's stage makeup for an old woman. Even though I think you wanted a dramtic appearance, considering the lips and the eyeliner, I think the surface of the skin got a bit too much of it. :-)
Iuvens, great skin, I think it's right. If you have a script for it, I would use it.
Anyway, here's a frontal close-up for further scrutiny if you feel so inclined. I'm going to take a hard look at the redness several of you are seeing. It might be as simple as tweaking the maps.
I don't know how to do scripting, but I may make a pack of MT5 presets that you can plug your own maps into.
what is the lighting for these sample images of your shader, Iuvenis

After the latest tweaks to my skin shader, I decided to post some samples again in hopes of getting some useful feedback. This time, I'm using a Vittorio character as my guinea pig. I'd greatly appreciate your honest opinions, here, so please don't be shy! As always, the goal is optimal realism.
